The Miniature Hereford Junior Nationals is a national youth livestock show for Miniature Hereford cattle exhibitors, featuring Miniature Hereford cattle competitions and educational contests.
Hosted by the Miniature Hereford Junior Nationals Association (MHJNA), this annual event brings together Miniature Hereford families from across the United States for cattle shows, showmanship, judging contests, fitting competitions, and leadership opportunities for youth ages 3–21.
The 2026 Miniature Hereford Junior Nationals marks our 12th year of bringing Miniature Hereford youth and families together for a week of competition, learning, and fun. The event will take place June 21–25 at the Litton Agri-Science Center in Chillicothe, Missouri. Over 100 exhibitors participated in the 2025 Junior Nationals.

Fun Fact : Chillicothe is known as "The Home of Sliced Bread". Livingston County Courthouse with mural depicting the community being the home of sliced bread. The district around the courthouse is on the National Register of Historic Places.
