Built by volunteers with more than a decade of experience creating national-level livestock events, this week has become a favorite summer tradition for exhibitors and families across the country

Designed for Miniature Hereford junior exhibitors ages 3–21, the event brings together families from across the country for a full week of competition, leadership opportunities, education, and activities focused on helping young exhibitors grow both in and out of the showring.

Throughout the week, exhibitors participate in cattle shows, showmanship, judging, speech, sales talk, photography, arts & crafts, and team fitting contests — building confidence, communication skills, teamwork, creativity, and industry knowledge along the way.

More than just a cattle show, the week is designed to help build confident, capable young people through responsibility, competition, leadership, and connection. From first-time exhibitors to experienced show families, the goal is to create an environment where exhibitors are encouraged to learn, grow, and support one another both inside and outside the ring.

Through hands-on experiences and opportunities like the Junior Leadership Committee, exhibitors develop leadership skills, sportsmanship, work ethic, and friendships that extend far beyond the week itself.

Every exhibitor has a place here — whether they bring cattle or simply participate in contests and activities throughout the week. Families return year after year for the welcoming atmosphere, familiar faces, traditions, and memories made along the way.

 

Alongside the competition, the event is meant to be fun: spending time with friends, cheering each other on, sharing meals, celebrating accomplishments, and creating the kind of experiences that become lasting summer memories.
