This includes showing cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, and horses.
Alexus Eudy Region 2 Seat A
I'm Alexus Eudy and I am a senior from Detroit High School and recently got accepted into Texas Tech for the Fall of 2020. I am representing region 2 this year! I have been actively involved in my FFA chapter and 4-H for the last 6 years. I have exhibited livestock for 6 years and Miniature Hereford cattle for the last 4. I have competed well in local, state, and national shows with my cattle and in showmanship. I am also very passionate for LDEs and CDEs competitions and I am currently this years FFA Chapter Secretary and The Miniature Hereford Junior Nationals Junior Committee Chairman. I am super excited to be representing the Miniature Hereford breed and to work along side such great people.
Lacey Rouse Region 3 Seat A
My name is Lacey Rouse. I am a Freshman at North Cedar High School in eastern Iowa. I have been raising Miniature Herefords with my parents and older brother since I was eight years old. I am an active member of both our county 4H and our school’s FFA chapter. I participate in other activities at school, too, which include volleyball, basketball, drama, and concert band. When I’m not at school, doing school activities, or working cattle, you can find me chilling out with my black Labrador Retriever, Callie. I am excited to serve as a Representative for Junior Nationals.
Region 4 Seat A
I am Isaac Wiley from Mount Vernon, Ohio. I am 17 years old and a Junior at Veritas Academy. My family and I operate 4 Wiley Farm, LLC where we run about 19 head of Miniature Herefords. I am part owner of 5 head, and my brother and I are responsible for the daily care and maintenance of the herd. I started showing Miniature Herefords when I was 9 years old and my parents haven’t been able to keep me out of the show ring since. I now show at the county, state and national levels. Miniature Herefords are my main focus, but I also enjoy showing goats and full-sized cattle. Showmanship is my passion and I am more than willing to take just about any animal into the show ring.
In my spare time, I am on a trap shooting team, play the piano at my church and love spending time in the woods hunting deer and squirrels. Some of the things I am most proud of this past year are receiving the Miniature Hereford Junior Nationals Herdsman Award and winning Reserve Grand Champion Bull at the North American International Livestock Expo.
I have attended the Miniature Hereford Junior Nationals for the last two years. Junior Nationals has changed my life and taught me to not be afraid of the unknown. I have been pushed out of my comfort zone, but it is those times that I have had the most fun and learned the most. I am honored to have been chosen as a part of Junior Nationals Junior Committee and hope I can make this a great experience for all the junior participants.
